The problem

If you live in the UK, you know the waiting list. If you live in the US, you know the bill. And if you’ve spent any time on YouTube lately, you’ve seen the videos: foreigners walking into Chinese hospitals and walking out an hour later, medicine in hand, receipt in the other.

What we do

We collect those first-hand videos, verify the numbers that appear in them, and add the context the videos can’t: how typical is that price, what that hospital actually is, what the process looks like step by step. Every number on this site links to its source. We don’t sell treatment, we don’t take hospital commissions, and we don’t give medical advice — we make one thing easier: understanding what healthcare in China is actually like before you form an opinion.
